Group Classes

semi-private 5 week group class 
This class will be limited to four or five dogs who are 6 months and older so everyone gets more one on one time to answer more questions and focus on what you and your dog needs. This smaller setting will help us dig deeper into the nuts and bolts of dog training. We will cover all problems you might be having as well as increasing obedience skills. We will also discuss proper nutrition, vaccinations, and grooming. First class there are NO dogs just training for the human.
Skills Taught: 
Heel, Sit, Down, Stand, Stay, Place, Wait, Come, markers words, and more

What You'll Need For Class
  • ​​6 ft. Leash
  • ​15 ft. Long Leash
  • Training Collar of choice​
  • ​Dog Food and training treats (for use during class)
  • Place cot or raised bed by week 3 of class 
All necessary equipment will be discussed at Week 1 Class.​

People Training Dogs: Continue education Level 2
Designed to strengthen your dog’s on leash skills, we will review
basic level obedience commands learned in the previous class.
Then we’ll begin the move toward off leash control by adding
more distance, duration, and distractions to your know exercises.
​New commands will include: moving stand, sit and down. You will need a place cot or raised bed on week two of class
This class is only open to Roc Solid Obedience clients who have completed our basic six-week class.

People Training for Dogs Level 1
This educational dog class will not only work on your dog’s obedience but also teach you how to recognize, manage, and change behaviors before they become undesirable.
You and your furry friend will learn how to walk on leash properly, sit, down, stay, place, come and stand for a veterinary exam all while adding distractions.

The first class is without your dog and first three classes are mandatory to continue the class. First class is without your dog we'll discuss your dog's behavior and needs, answer your questions, and talk about your first week’s "homework" assignment.
